This past weekend Aereo was represented by 21 Competitive gymnasts competing in Levels 2-8, and 4 ODP gymnasts competing in the beginner level for their respective age groups, at the 30th Annual Burlington Spring Cup. This was a fun Invitational for many of our Provincial gymnasts following a season of qualifiers, and our ODP gymnasts very first competition ever! The ODP age 6 gymnasts compete a variety of strength, power, endurance, handstand and flexibility stations and are awarded with a medal and certificate for their efforts nut no official results – where as the ODP age 7 gymnasts are awarded stickers on their certificates for points earned on skills for the events and conditioning stations (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit) along with a medal for their efforts. Our Level 6 and Level 8 gymnasts participated in the PAIRS event where two gymnasts each choose 2 events to compete and combine their scores for the All Around. An exciting weekend with great results !
