Aereo was represented by 5 gymnasts at the “For the Love of Gymnastics” Invitational hosted at Ridley College on February 12. Their results are as follows:
Level 1:
Kaya Lambrechts (age 9) – 1st on Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and All Around
Level 2:
Emily Stout (age 11) – 2nd on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 2nd All Around
Madelyn Rainville (age 11) – 3rd on Vault, 4th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 3rd on Floor and 4th All Around
Gwen Cudmore (age 12) – 4th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 2nd All Around
Zoe Paraskevopoulos (age 12) – 7th on Vault, 4th on Bars, 6th on Beam, 7th on Floor and 7th All Around
Aereo’s Provincial gymnasts recently competed at their second Provincial Qualifier in Blenheim Kent February 20-21. Their results are as follows:
Level 6
Sarah Maguire (age 9) – 9th on Vault, 12th on Bars, 13th on Beam, 14th on Floor and 15th All Around
Ashley Clarke-Smith (age 13) – 1st on Vault, 6th on Bars, 7th on Beam, 6th on Floor and 5th All Around
Level 7
Ava Arsenault (age 10) – 8th on Vault, 7th on Bars, 7th on Beam, 8th on Floor and 4th All Around
Emma Biggar (age 10) – 11th on Vault, 17th on Bars, 19th on Beam, 10th on Floor and 17th All Around
Level 8
Faith Ruber (age 11) – 4th on Vault, 8th on Bars, 5th on Beam, 5th on Floor and 5th All Around
Aereo’s Provincial gymnasts will compete in Cambridge March 5-6 for their third qualifier in hopes of qualifying for the Provincial Championships held in April in Mississauga. Aereo’s Invitational gymnasts have their next competition at the end of March in Brampton.
